How to Set Up Your First Online Store in Under 5 Minutes

Before you start
Setting up an online store used to mean choosing hosting, installing software, configuring payment gateways, and spending days on design. Not anymore. With a link-in-bio storefront, you can go from zero to a live store in minutes.
Here is everything you need to get started: an email address, a product to sell (or just an idea for one), and about five minutes of your time. That is it. No credit card required, no coding, no design skills.
Tip: Have your product photos and descriptions ready before you start. This will make the setup process even faster.
Step 1: Create your account
Head to sellr.link and click Get Started Free. You can sign up with your email and a password, or use Google sign-in for one-click access. After signing up, you will be taken directly to the onboarding flow.
During onboarding, you will choose your username. This becomes your store URL, like sellr.link/yourname, so pick something short and memorable. If you have a brand name, use that. If you are a creator, your social media handle works great.
Step 2: Pick your theme
Sellr offers two themes to match your style. The Creator theme features a circular avatar, your bio, and social links front and center. It is perfect for influencers, coaches, and personal brands. The Business theme uses a rectangular logo area and a structured product grid. It is ideal for shops, brands, and anyone who wants a more professional look.
You can switch themes at any time without losing data, so do not stress about this choice. Go with your gut.
Step 3: Add your first product
From your dashboard, navigate to Products and click Add Product. Fill in the product name, a short description, and set your price. Choose whether it is a digital product (like a PDF, preset pack, or e-book) or a physical product (like a t-shirt, print, or accessory).
Upload one to five product photos. Clear, well-lit photos make a big difference in conversion. If you have a compare-at price to show a discount, add that too. When you are happy, click Save to publish your product to your storefront.
Tip: Your first product does not have to be perfect. You can edit everything later. The important thing is to get your store live so you can start sharing it.
Step 4: Customize your colors
Head to Store Settings and pick an accent color that matches your brand. This color is used for buttons, links, and highlights across your storefront. The default Sellr blue looks great, but if you have specific brand colors, now is the time to set them.
Add your avatar or logo, write a short bio (keep it under 160 characters), and link your social media profiles. These details appear at the top of your storefront and help visitors connect with you.
Step 5: Share your link
Your store is now live. Copy your store URL from the top of the dashboard and paste it into your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X bio. Replace your existing link-in-bio tool, or just add your Sellr link alongside it.
That is it. You now have a fully functional online store with built-in checkout, powered by Stripe, accessible from a single link in your social media bio. Visitors can browse your products, add to cart, and pay, all without leaving your page.
As you add more products, create discount codes, and build your email list, your storefront grows with you. But for now, the most important step is done: you are live.
