Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Sellr

General

Sellr is a link-in-bio storefront platform designed for selling digital and physical products directly to your audience. Add your Sellr link to your social media bios and start selling with built-in Stripe checkout, email capture, product reviews, and analytics — all from one beautiful page.

Sellr is built for sellers, not just link sharing. Unlike Linktree, Sellr supports full product listings with images, descriptions, and variants. Compared to Stan Store, Sellr offers physical product support with shipping address collection, a product grid view, discount codes on all plans (including free), product reviews, drops and collections with countdown timers, and a generous free tier with up to 10 products.

Yes! The free plan includes up to 10 products, built-in checkout via Stripe, email capture, basic analytics, and your own sellr.link link. A 5% platform transaction fee applies on each sale. No credit card is required to get started.

Not at all. Sellr is designed to be set up in under 5 minutes with zero coding required. The onboarding flow walks you through choosing a username, picking a theme, and adding your first product. If you can post on social media, you can use Sellr.

Products & Selling

Yes, Sellr supports both product types. Digital products (like templates, e-books, presets, or courses) are delivered instantly via a secure download link after purchase. Physical products include shipping address collection at checkout so you can fulfill and ship orders. You can mix both types in the same store.

You can add option groups (like Size, Color, or Format) to any product. Each option group has individual values (e.g., Small, Medium, Large). Variants are automatically generated from the combinations. Each variant can have its own price modifier (e.g., +$5 for XL) and independent inventory count, giving you full control over pricing and stock per variant.

Stripe handles all checkout processing, which means your buyers can pay with credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and many other local payment methods depending on their region. The checkout experience is fast, secure, and mobile-friendly.

Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. Sellr takes a small platform transaction fee (2–5% depending on your plan) from each sale. Stripe’s standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) applies separately. Stripe deposits your earnings to your linked bank account on their standard rolling schedule — typically within 2 business days in the US.

Pricing & Plans

Sellr offers three plans. Free: up to 10 products, 5% platform fee, built-in checkout, email capture, and basic analytics. Pro ($19/month): up to 100 products, 3% platform fee, custom domain support, remove Sellr branding, and priority support. Business ($39/month): unlimited products, 2% platform fee, SMS notifications, advanced analytics, and API access.

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. When you upgrade, you get instant access to the higher-tier features. When you downgrade, your plan adjusts at the end of the current billing cycle. You will not lose any data when changing plans.

No. You pay the monthly subscription (if on a paid plan) plus the Sellr platform transaction fee on each sale. Stripe’s standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) applies separately and is charged by Stripe, not Sellr. There are no setup fees, listing fees, or cancellation fees.

Store & Customization

Custom domain support is coming soon for Pro and Business plan users. Currently, all stores are accessible via your sellr.link/username link. You will be able to connect your own domain (like shop.yourbrand.com) once the feature launches.

Yes. You can toggle review visibility from your dashboard under Store Settings, then Profile, then Display Options. When hidden, existing reviews are preserved but not shown to visitors. You can re-enable them at any time.

The Creator theme features a circular avatar, a personal bio section, and prominently displayed social links. It is designed for influencers, content creators, and personal brands. The Business theme uses a rectangular logo area, a cleaner product grid layout, and a more structured professional look. It is better suited for brands, shops, and businesses with a larger catalog.

Technical

When a product reaches zero stock, it automatically shows a “Sold Out” badge on your storefront and the buy button is disabled. Buyers can sign up for back-in-stock email notifications so they get alerted when you restock. The product remains visible on your store — it is not hidden.

After completing a purchase, buyers see a download button on the order success page and also receive an email with the download link. Links are secured with unique tokens, expire after 72 hours, and have a 5-download limit to prevent unauthorized sharing. Files are served directly from Sellr’s servers.

Your subscriber list is available in the dashboard under the Subscribers section. You can view subscriber emails and signup dates. CSV export functionality is coming soon, which will let you easily import your list into email marketing tools like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or Beehiiv.
