Why email matters
Social media algorithms change constantly. Your follower count does not guarantee reach. An email list is an audience you own and can contact directly. Sellr makes it easy to capture emails right from your storefront without any third-party tools.
The email capture widget
Your storefront includes a built-in email capture section. Visitors can enter their email address and subscribe to your updates. The widget appears below your products and can be customized with a headline and call-to-action.
- 1Go to Dashboard then Store Settings then Email Capture.
- 2Toggle the email capture widget on.
- 3Customize the heading (e.g. Stay in the loop or Get exclusive drops).
- 4Save your changes.
Viewing subscribers
All captured emails appear in your dashboard under Subscribers. You can see when each person subscribed. CSV export functionality is coming soon so you can import your list into email marketing tools like Mailchimp or ConvertKit.
Tip: Mention your email list in your social media posts and stories. Offer an incentive like a discount code or free digital product for signing up.
Buyer emails
Every customer who makes a purchase also has their email captured as part of the order. These buyer emails are separate from your subscriber list but equally valuable. Buyers are your most engaged audience and are most likely to purchase again.
